Love the guests and the conversations on table manners. However, find it slightly annoying how much Jessie talks over her guests! Also on earlier episodes (just listened to Dermot O’Leary. The sound is awful. Can’t hear some parts then have to turn other parts down! Not sure I’ll listen to the...Read full review »

My favorite podcast of all time. I love the banter and such interesting guests. Being in America I am not familiar with a lot of the guests but have loved them all. Oh and BTW am making Marbella chicken today!!

I absolutely love this podcast, the mix of family, food and guests is perfect! You’ve even introduced me to other podcasts thru your guests but this remains my top podcast, I’m rationing myself so I don’t run out!!!

I have no idea who Jesse is outside of this podcast - but thrilled she has a great career as I’m sure it helps get the guests. Adore her and her mother’s relationship. It is just such a nice slice of life with fascinating guests and sparkling conversation.
DLinUSA via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/09/19
I really enjoy the premise of this...and I want to like it more than I do. But it’s just so pretentious (foodie) and the non-stop interruption/gratuitous swearing from Jessie is just too much. Ed Gamble and James Acaster’s ‘Off Menu’ just does this so much better.
Bananna92 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 08/08/19
Absolutely love this podcast and listen every week. Loved Cheryl, Ed Sheehan and Michelle Keegans episodes. Had to turn the latest episode with London Hughes off - never heard anyone eat so loudly in my life. It was absolutely revolting.

I wasn’t familiar with Jessie or her fabulous mum before the amazing Cheryl was on the podcast and since then I have never looked back. This is literally hands down the best podcast EVER!!!! Jessie and Lennie are fantastically hilarious, real and down to earth. Great guests, great conversation and awesome food, what more could you possibly want! Keep them coming, they are the highlight of my week!!

Love this show, save it up for my commute home on a Friday as it starts my weekend with a smil. Great guests and love the Jessie Lennie relationship, mothers and daughters, always the same.

I do really love this podcast but I echo the sentiments below; you have a tendency to talk over your guests and get a little shouty at times. Otherwise it's fantastic!

Roisin Murphy is amazing!

Thanks for making a conscious effort to reduce the interruptions to your amazing guests. I’m back in love with the show!

Used to love this podcast, but like many others think there’s much more shouting and talking over guests and the swearing has got worse.

Hi ladies, writing with sadness that I have just listened to the last of this season. Ok I can’t compete with your holibobs in Greece but if your every in Australia I would love to see both of you. I used to cook for a Jewish family in London whilst on my OE and the way you two bicker reminds me of my time around the dinner table on a Friday with the extended family. It always makes me smile. :)

Really loving these podcasts. So glad I found them. Makes the commute to work less tedious and entertaining! Are you doing a cookbook? Would love to see that.

New to this podcast. Absolutely love it, laughing out loud on my run (slightly embarrassing) Jessie & Lennie are hilarious together. So glad I found you!

I stumbled across this whilst sitting in the garden looking for something new to listen to. I love everything about this podcast. It’s so laidback, it’s like eating a bacon sandwich on a Sunday morning, with a cup of tea, listening to The Commodores in the background. Food is the most social,...Read full review »

Like the concept and format but agree with many other people about the interrupting. It’s weird that it’s got worse - you would think they would get more used to talking to people? I also really dislike the term ‘foodie’. It’s unnecessarily pretentious.

I listen to quite a few podcasts and this has to be my favourite. I’ve listened to and loved this podcast for years and always listen as soon as it’s downloaded. It’s such a lovely concept and so well executed for a long time. The concept of this show is great, but honestly, the interrupting of guests is infuriating. People are tuning in to listen to your guests, please, just let them speak!! One question at a time and wait until they’ve finished to ask another one!
JazzyYam via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 07/05/19
Interviewing techniques need to be improved. Lovely guests and a great concept for a podcast but the endless interrupting of them by Lenny but mostly Jessie is just embarrassing and uncomfortable.

I love this podcast. Food, family, great guests. Love the banter/bickering, so happy to hear it happens in other families!! Can’t cope with the Happiness of Deborah Francis White as a guest. The two best podcasts merging in one episode 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Discovered Jessie’s sultry and powerful tones randomly on Spotify, but didn’t realise there was a podcast as well. Love the podcast and genuinely take an hour out of my day to listen to it each week, but have to agree with a LOT of people and say that the interrupting of guests needs to chill out! Just let them finish a sentence and it will be a much calmer and easier listen.

I love this show but was so frustrated that Neneh was not allowed to finish her anecdote about meeting Andi Oliver for the first time. I love this show, having read some previous reviews about “constant interrupting” I paid extra attention when listening and I don’t agree. It’s not an “interview” format, it’s meant to be informal supper chat and personally, I highly recommend it.

I love the podcast, I find the vibe of the show so enjoyable, and funny, yet relaxing at the same time. I find myself drifting away as if I’m at the table with you all myself.
