In love with the Nick Grimshaw episode and the temporary format works perfectly! I have just been outside for my permitted daily corna virus exercise and smiled the whole hour.

Love this podcast. Anyone you have on always feels so at home. Grimmy is so down to earth. He gets so much crap online but I love listening to him. I listen to BBC1 online and never miss his show.

It’s becoming more & more evident that the guest is just in the way. Both of you clearly just want to talk about yourselves & your own lives which is perfectly fine but don’t have a third party there. Like so many others the David Schwimmer episode was cringe worthy. The man couldn’t...Read full review »

This broad cast just really is what makes me happy! It makes me laugh and has some of the most unusual conversations and if you haven’t seen it then GO WATCH ONE (especially the Jo Brand episode)! This is a well-made, amazing podcast which I look up to for my inspiration... This is a purely funny...Read full review »

The episode with Riz Ahmed is by far my favourite. Really enjoyed their conversation - truthful, honest, political but not offensive. People like Jessie, Lennie and Riz I feel represent the kind of Britain I want to live in. The conversation around food and different cultures - just beautiful...Read full review »

This is such a wonderful discovery. Comforting and funny and full of love. I like how the food conversation ranges from fancy schmancy to a baked potato....serving the texture of life 🥰

Great concept but struggle to listen as they just can’t stop interrupting their guests. If you ask a question please let them answer! Very frustrating!
Emsoxx via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 03/14/20
.... a little less kvelling please over the guests. It can feel a bit fawning at times. A little more calm please. Food sounds mouthwatering though and very impressive guest list. Keep them coming!

Hadn’t listened to this podcast in a while as it was seeming more and more like you were tuning in to hear the hosts argue in front of a famous person. When David Schwimmer came up as a guest, I thought I’d give it another go only to see that it has become so overwhelming as to completely ruin...Read full review »

I love the podcast and this one didn’t fail to impress. Great chatter, both hosts are so much fun. I’m definitely getting their book. I just want to set the record right about gazpacho. It’s from south Spain not Mexico, but you’ve got to live someone who makes incorrect statements with immense...Read full review »

The interruptions are quite painful / Unnecessary. Really enjoy the format though so it won’t put me off, It would be superb without the interruptions.

The interruptions are so frustrating I have to abandon episodes sometimes. Great guests and premise: let them finish sentences occasionally...

Haven’t listened in a while so was happy to see an episode with David Schwimmer. Mostly enjoyable but please give the guests an opportunity to finish what they’re saying. I feel that there are plenty of lost or missed great moments when there’s a lot of talking over people. Otherwise, love the...Read full review »

The camaraderie, the bickering, it’s all as comforting and entertaining as the food being served. Jessie and Lennie are funny, warm and hilarious.

What has happened? Haven’t listened for a while and then tuned in. So Many ads and self promotion ten minutes in before even told who guest was. Used to be brilliant

I love this podcast, you really feel like you are at the table with them! So well put together, must be tricky to condense a whole evening into a podcast but it’s always seamless, and has me chuckling on the tube. Keep up the good work! I used to really enjoy this podcast but I’m afraid the interrupting has just become too much. I couldn’t finish the David Schwimmer episode because it was too uncomfortable to listen to. I’m sure he had some great things to say, if he had been given the chance.
HannahSYFC via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 03/05/20
Ughhh so frustrating. They are amazing guests and I can’t even hear them talk most of the time. So much interrupting and talking over. What a shame!

I usually really enjoy this podcast but I had to stop listening to the David Schwimmer episode as they kept interrupting. Maybe they were overexcited - but it became quite irritating.

So entertaining & I so enjoy listening to all the ‘Celebrity Guests’ talking so openly about themselves. You certainly get the sense that their guests are really enjoying a home cooked meal shared and presented by these lovely ladies! Can’t wait to buy the cook book! My favourite Podcast!
HelenB143 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/02/20
Great guests but totally agree with the other reviewers about interrupting - you have the most incredible people with stories to tell, let them tell them.
MiaFantastic via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 03/01/20
Have always loved this podcast and think you’re both great which the chemistry that comes with Mother and Daughter.. but have to agree with reviews about the interrupting!! The last episode with DS was just too painful to listen to! I had to turn it off 😣
cpjsm via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 02/29/20
This podcast could be so amazing but it’s excruciating to listen to Jessie interrupting the guests constantly and both of them finishing sentences for people. I was physically cringing listening to the David Scwhimmer episode
hancart_0 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 02/27/20
Some great guests but staring to feel like we don’t get to hear them as Jessie and Lennie speak of themselves more. I was really excited about David S episode but they just spoke over him the whole time not allowing him to finish. Such a waste of a great opportunity.
PapayaLGHW via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 02/27/20
I really like this podcast but I’m not sure I can carry on listening, the interrupting is too much! David Schwimmer couldn’t finish a sentence or ask a question without being asked another one. It was so uncomfortable to listen to. That was the worst so far, such a shame
JCN4 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 02/27/20

I love how relaxed your guests are and how the conversation flows naturally, plus I’m a big foodie so I love all the food chat too! I listen as I walk home from work and end up smiling and laughing to myself.

Am sure you guys aren’t doing it on purpose, but it’s really uncomfortable to listen to you interrupting people so much. The David Schwimmer episode is really tricky to listen to.

I used to absolutely love this podcast but recently I’ve found it so frustrating listening to guests trying to speak and Jessie and Lennie just talking over them. The latest David Schwimmer episode was the worst- I was just cringing the entire episode. Please stop!

I absolutely love listening to your podcast. Discovered it a few months ago and have enjoyed going back where it all began I. Season 1. Half the people I’ve never heard of as I’m in Australia, but you make it fab!
zilliezoom via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 02/23/20
Used to really love this but I’m struggling to stay with it - Jessie and Lennie need to stop interrupting and talking over the guests. The David S episode was the worst for it, it was really uncomfortable to listen to.
Khayes12345 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 02/22/20
Such a good concept and executed in a hilarious way. Some very big guests and I love the way Jessie and her mum still argue and banter no matter who they are with. So much more interesting than just a run of the mill interview.
Jennietriplet via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 02/22/20
I absolutely love this podcast but it’s so disappointing to see you mock veganism. It’s so selfish and immature. Please get a vegan activist on so you can educate yourself and diversify your guests. It’s also very uncomfortable listening to you both arguing and putting eachother down all the time.
