My Favorite Audio Fiction
These guys hooked me from episode one. Martin Mundt's "Chair" was as hilarious as it was creepy, and there are numerous other stories that I've listened to repeatedly. Host Lawrence Santoro creates the perfect mood to come on in and listen to his stories. That combined with the top notch narration and horror stories makes this show land at the top of my queue every time. If you haven't heard Martin's review of "Thor" on episode 13, that's another great laugh to have. Any time Dave Robison makes a narration appearance, you better listen to that to. "Home" in episode 11 (Part 2 of the Stoker Award episodes) was a great and hilarious story to begin with, but Dave made it superb. It wasn't a comedy, but the dialogue and sarcasm were great comic relief within such a difficult story to experience. I could go on flattering about all the shows, but there's a taste. Find out for yourself.Read full review »
