“Normally this podcast is ok.
The odd tale is good, usually filler while waiting for new episodes of Nosleep or something. But the terrible, hilariously bad narration in the hideously insulting accent in this episode (252) prompted me to write a review. STOP IT, just stop.
You're embarrassing yourself.
Please just use your own accent to narrate because doing an accent that is some kind of British isles, South African, Jamaican, Indian mashup is bloody awful and makes listening to the story impossible.
Gawd every 'R' was rolled, did you learn a Scottish accent from the simpsons groundskeeper?
You can't even pronounce words like lino properly.
Crap!”Read full review »

“I have so enjoyed the flavour, feeling and fervour of the writers, narrators and host of the series. It makes it personable and enjoyable so delighting in the writing, which is what it's all about. Give it a listen, you won't regret it, if you survive…. Creaaaakkk”Read full review »

“This little podcast has a big footprint. It's like the 60 minutes of the horror genre, but always has at its heart a solid, well-read story. Some new, some old, always wonderful.”Read full review »

“I love to listen to Tales to Terrify when I am walking around on a gloomy day. The quality of the stories and production are extremely high and they stick with you long after they're over. This podcast is obviously a labour of love for craft of horror and is a remarkable achievement.”Read full review »
