“First, I'm new to the podcast world. I've been on Itunes for a long time but never really ventured far from the music side of the house until recently. Somehow I stumbled across this small collection of podcasts for the horror genre and Tales to Terrify became my very first podcast download. All I can say is wow! What fiendish fun this has been. It's a nice mix of short stories and blog like discussions on horror. My daily commute to work is now something to look forward to.... except I have no more episodes to listen to.
I've enjoyed all but one of the stories (which I will refrain from sharing which one it was). I give only 4 stars instead of 5 for the rather lame reason that most of the stories have a hard leftist slant, which you often find in horror but some of the authors use it to the point that it detracts from the story. Despite this minor flaw I will be coming back for more. I can't wait for the next installment!! The host mentions that this is a spinoff of the Starship Sofa, so I will venture that direction to tide me over until TTT releases more episodes.”Read full review »
