In these crazy times, I find it extremely calming to listen to these lawyers chat. Yes, I meant what I said; listening to a group of lawyers talk about crimes committed (maybe) by the highest officials of the land is indeed calming. Because these folks are so smart, so articulate, so rational, and ultimately believers that the good values of decency, fairness, and impartiality can still rule the day. They toss around a few terms here and there that might not be familiar to you unless you follow some of the court cases of the day, but generally it's perfectly accessible to reasonably well informed laypeople. I am very thankful for the fundamental honesty and belief in fair play that so clearly underpins everything these folks have to say. Give it a try.
