Yeah, the conversational style can feel like fillers, and in fact I was avoiding this podcast when my goal was still to cram as much information about communism as possible because it felt like a waste of the few minutes I had to spare. Now that I've started to slow down though, I have more appreciation for this podcast. The episodes may be longer than they would've been without the jokes, but they're funny! I'm mainly interested in history (as opposed to current events) and I don't know how accurate their versions are, but overall I find each episode pretty informative and, if nothing else, good starting points for further research. I'm also taking back my earlier comment about bringing in a guest host. I think this format works exactly because of their sibling dynamic and plenty of podcasts rely on guest appearances already. I also appreciate that the sister is presenting herself as the student and is asking questions some of us are probably too ashamed of asking out loud, given how rough the leftist community can be.Read full review »

Karl Marx was a radical would be murder and every subsequent follower turned leader, WAS a...Read full review »

This is far below average show with confused host about the world. That’s me being nice. Neither do they understand communism or capitalism or socialism. Funny to listen to and will help understand the radical left a little better after listening. Left or right it’s still a bird trying to poop...Read full review »
