THANK YOU!
I have been looking for an easy way to learn real history and economic theory for so long and find this podcast so incredibly helpful, funny, and down to earth. I've learned so so much from Christine and Grady and have been spreading class consciousness like I've been spreading wildflower seeds on golf courses. I can now fully say I'm a Marxist/communist with full confidence and the ability to back myself up on it instead of just saying, "idk man it seems moral." Dialectic materialism was a game changer. Learning about Operation Condor was a game changer. Learning about Cuba was a game changer. Learning about Mao's Mass Line and the real things the Black Panthers did was a game changer. I feel like the wool has been pulled off my eyes and I can see things for what they are and that helps me find a way to begin building community and consciousness in ways I haven't before. We can get there, yall. I'm more hyped than ever and I'm hosting skill share parties to build real relationships and mutual aid while empowering folks to learn how to do things like make bread and wine! I'm offering the book I just wrote on a pay what you want/can basis. I'm watching my friend's pets for free. I'm spreading the good word of self worth and labor value to everyone I talk to. We are building a new future and this podcast has been a corner stone for me in that process. Can not recommend enough, thank you for this service, truly ❤️Read full review »

However it’s fine inarticulately and lacks impact so it’s just a continual irritant. I’m just worried it’s a...Read full review »

I actually came looking for a podcast to learn more about communism, specifically it’s historical success stories and eventual causes of failure. I found that the podcasters were using the medium as more of an advertisement for their own views, rather than exploring historical truths. I’d...Read full review »

Exactly what is needed! This pod unpacks the dense slog that is communism, socialism and what is NOT (spoiler alert: past so-called communist regimes). Grady is an excellent teacher and Christine that great kind of student who works stuff out on their own and contributes to the learning of all....Read full review »
