I have yet to come across another film-related podcast which comes close to the experience of the Team Podcast. Every week it consistently inspires me to keep on learning my craft. I highly recommend it for any (aspiring or established) filmmakers!

I love this show but the sound quality makes it so hard to hear. Send a mic to your guests on zoom or perhaps have them record from their side so I can hear what they are saying. These important voices need to be heard!

If you like films, listening to this is a wonderful experience. SEASON 2 - EPISODE 4 - MAT BERGEL - PROPS is just priceless. I had no idea that so much has to happen to film a scene. SEASON 2 - EPISODE 31 - KOKAYI AMPAH - LOCATION MANAGER is fantastic as well.

I‘not a filmmaker nor have I anything to do with film professionally. I just came about it because I like movies and watched some which Roger Deacons shot. But I‘m hooked since I listened to the first episode and I barely miss a new one ever since. The stories and the people are incredibly...Read full review »

I love this modern podcast platform. Together with YouTube and X they are changing the way we fans of a specific subject/genre can get access to the world’s great creators through really in-depth conversations. No traditional media would even consider giving this much ‘airtime’ and this has given...Read full review »

I've been listening to the Team Deakins since their first release of the podcast. Every topic they talk about relates to the Guests work on and how they got to their current position. This is truly inspiring as it shows how these people, some from small towns or no relation to someone in the...Read full review »

As an ex film major and makeup effects guy who is currently using my mid life crisis to go deep into stop motion animation, I happened upon this podcast and can’t believe how much of a game changer it has been for me. Because of the constant “ Wow” from Roger Deacon’s wife I unsubscribed many months ago but today I wondered if Deacon’s wife became cognizant of her overuse of “ Wow” and because John Turturro was their recent guest I started listening and sure enough the Wows came in droves.
