I just checked to see the subjects you’re covering and they are tremendously dubious causes. Fossil fuel nonproliferation? Returning lands to indigenous peoples? Maybe I’ll listen when you’re not pandering

All the news sources Christiane Amanpour lists as “trustworthy” are the ones lying to us and can’t be trusted. Not surprising, since this is coming from a CNN reporter. She barely scratched the surface on what is really going on in Iran and Ukraine. The tragic killings there are horrific....Read full review »

There is something to learn from every episode and the diversity of topics and speakers is great, but I can’t give this 5 stars because I feel like the push to put out so many episodes sometimes affects the quality.

I enjoy learning what other people are thinking, and why they are thinking that way. It provides me context to hear what they are saying! Then I condense their thoughts into a summary statement. That way I can remember and share the mindset with others when circumstances allow me to do so. I...Read full review »

I use to really liked Ted Talks. I started listening to it on NPR in 2011. It was educational, scientific, inspiring etc. However it became super political, extremely left leaning, and more about racism, social justice, and just really biased. It stopped becoming scientific and inspiring. It is...Read full review »

Just listen to 10 episodes and you’ll figure it out. Diversity is important except when it comes to ideas here.

Another woke podcast. What happened to TED?

Be a bit more courageous about picking more heterodox ideas on just about any of the current narratives you present.

This has happened before, but the last two TED talks will no download or play from the Apple Podcast App. It’s been nearly a week now. I’m using an iPhone XR with IOS 15.3.1 and have rebooted etc.

Sometime a little over-the-top (like a million speeches on climate change and diversity - OK, we get it already!), but overall excellent presentations.

Used to love Ted Talks but just within the last 5 years it’s been hijacked, like most media, by progressive and woke mobsters that complain about their victim status while doing world tours and cashing checks. This new age ideology is cancer.
russ8989 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/10/22
This can be really good, and I want some climate change content, but it seems like half of this is about climate change and there’s not real diversity in the content.

This sounds like a poorly realized pre-edited college project on how to summarize prime TED content to a 4 minute recap. Terribly distracting weird sound effects and poorly timed splices: overly rushed in the wrong places. More time on ads than the speaker.

The guy talking sustainable housing put forward every possible buzzword in architecture but failed to address two things. It’s not a lack of vision, it’s a lack of global coordination, and it’s all hinged on capitalism that sees housing as a commodity, not a right. Also, if you design sustainable...Read full review »

There isn’t an easy way to order the items on a play list. Your “Up Next” view should have a way but it doesn’t. You can tell the app to play this one next or last but it doesn’t change position on the list so you can’t tell what order things will play in. Also can’t tell the app ‘I don’t want...Read full review »
