Matt really listens
Wow, just wow. I am not an explorer, climber or what one might call an adventurer AND I love these podcasts more than anything else out there. Matt Pycroft, the host, really listens to his guests, who are always fascinating and he makes them more so by encouraging them to open up and allows the conversation to take it’s own path. Listening is a very rare skill, in doing so he gives every listener the permission to really listen too. I am hooked. I get so much from every podcast, it matters not one bit that I am not immediately or obviously connected to adventure, every conversation he has brings me something. In addition I find them calming and reassuring and hopeful too. You will not regret listening, I absolutely promise. I discovered these podcasts because I am a cold water swimmer at Tooting Bec Lido, as a result of that I discovered Gilly McArthur and follow her on Instagram, a very inspiring woman. She was interviewed by Matt, I recommend listening to that one and many many more.

This has to be the most inspiring story I have ever heard. Gail tells her story generously and l will never moan about the hardships I have to deal with.
