Really beautiful, well done show. Funny. Insightful. Vulnerable. All the good things. Ego is an excellent host with thoughtful questions and deep warmth. I have a dad, but a super tough one. I ended up learning so much. And Adam Pally as a first guest- chef’s kiss. πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ³. In sum, this show can be wrapped up in one word: lovely. Can’t wait for more episodes.

Listening to the episode with Hasan brought me to tears, unexpectedly. I am not born of immigrant parents but it does bear repeating that so many of us have been given so much that we have taken for granted. Thanks, Ego, for sharing your vulnerability while bringing levity and humor to us all.

Have always loved Ego’s comedic work and love that we get to hear a more sincere version of her on this show. First episode with Adam Pally was a great listen. Ego asked meaningful questions and brought out a lot of vulnerability in Adam. Excited to keep listening.
