This is the most beautiful show. Like some other reviewers, I really like Ego’s work and all these wonderful performers and I thought these would be light funny interviews. The tone is very light and comfortable and conversational, but these are also deep and thought provoking discussions that...Read full review »

I initially listened to this because I’m a fan of Ego from SNL. This is such a thoughtful, interesting show about being a child and having children, having parents and being a parent. And it’s cool to see the more serious side of favorite comedians. Thank you Ego!

I really enjoyed this. He reminds me of my husband so much. Ego, you are so casual and you sound like a girlfriend having a relaxing chat. I’m so glad I found this. Love you on SNL and this. Keep up the good work!!! 💜

I’m a dad to a 32 year old daughter who has severe autism, so I don’t get to do a lot of the typical dad things with her! My daughter and I still have a great relationship, and we bond over similar interests.

Still, it’s great to hear you and your guests talk through various situations! In...Read full review »

I am tired of true crime and politics this podcast is personal and prescient for just about anyone! As a father of a 6 year old, and a high school teacher, this is raising new questions and considerations for me! It is funny, honest, and naturally shows off Ego’s brilliance.

It’s called the Little death. That’s why you say bless you. I loved you on Lovett or Leave It. Now I love you and everything. I’d like to be on the list for potential guests. My résumé is my father could be a Trump body double. My son doesn’t speak to me. I wish I could’ve been the father. I am...Read full review »

In a world that can seemingly so harsh, dangerous and cruel, it’s really cool to listen to a podcast, excuse me, WANT to listen to a podcast that feels good and light. On random topics and goodness where center of it is about fathers and themselves. Good job Ego, keep laughing, keep lifting, keep...Read full review »

Bill Burr Episode turned me off the whole show. She’s trying to be too silly/joking about serious conversations and it just come across weird and insensitive

Listening to the episode with Hasan brought me to tears, unexpectedly. I am not born of immigrant parents but it does bear repeating that so many of us have been given so much that we have taken for granted. Thanks, Ego, for sharing your vulnerability while bringing levity and humor to us all.

Great idea good conversation. With time Ego will learn to let her guests speak no need to rush to fill silence and letting questions have a moment to breathe. All those things come with time.

Love love Ego on SNL but especially on CBB. It’s wonderful to hear such vulnerability with comfortable silliness - can’t wait to hear more episodes!!

Really beautiful, well done show. Funny. Insightful. Vulnerable. All the good things. Ego is an excellent host with thoughtful questions and deep warmth. I have a dad, but a super tough one. I ended up learning so much. And Adam Pally as a first guest- chef’s kiss. 👨🏻‍🍳. In sum, this show can be...Read full review »

Have always loved Ego’s comedic work and love that we get to hear a more sincere version of her on this show. First episode with Adam Pally was a great listen. Ego asked meaningful questions and brought out a lot of vulnerability in Adam. Excited to keep listening.

I’ve been a fan of Ego’s comedic talents since I first heard her on Comedy Bang Bang years ago. This was such a sweet episode with two extremely funny and talented people. I’m excited to hear more!

I think this is a wonderful idea for a podcast. However, I found it difficult to make it through the first interview because of the rapid fire questioning and weak structuring.
