I have followed Ryan’s work, and I think the importance of male practitioner perspectives (especially for boys with ADHD) can’t be overstated. With that said, I have been supremely disappointed with the content of this podcast. The hosts spend far too much time railing against other practitioners...Read full review »

I have found the information in these podcasts extremely helpful however they often spend far too much time bashing other methods out there. I don’t disagree with what these guys are saying at all but the constant criticism of alternative views often leads them totally off track. I understand you...Read full review »

Despite having what I believe to be a neurotypical child who is just over-the-top verbal, the advice from these two gentlemen are applicable to every situation encountered by every parent. I learnt a lot about learning to fade away to build the child’s independence and authoritative parenting....Read full review »

I am SO grateful the algorithm sent me to The ADHD Dudes! As a parent with ADHD, I have been all over the place in parenting my daughter with ADHD. This is the evidence based, authentic advice I have been looking for and I only wish I had found it years ago.

In an activated tone one of these males (Bc that’s the important part, right? Not their knowledge and experience but the fact that they have a penis.) informs the audience with know-it-all confidence that all ADHDers are this or that, think in black or white, are rigid, can’t read the room, etc....Read full review »

Wow. Were you guys flies on the walls of my home? Such valuable insight that is NEW to me. I feel like somebody just unlocked the door to connecting in more positive ways with my son and finally explained the “whys” of ADHD to me. For the first time, I’m excited to begin the work to improve the...Read full review »

I notice when I listen to so many of these podcasts related to kids and parenting, it’s almost exclusively women presenting the information. Often the advice is about affirming, listening, and working around and empathising with all sorts of negative behaviours because the child is...Read full review »

These guys are talking about my son. Every. Single. Thing they say is about my child. I’m binging this podcast and started the Scaffolding Better Behavior course, hoping that I can figure out how to support my 12 yr old son through middle school. I wish the ADHD Guys would come speak to our...Read full review »

Episode 13 for “learned helplessness” should come with a disclaimer. I truly hope people seek other advice outside of this. While in theory this might work “not being their child’s frontal lobe” or anticipating their child using “every trick in the book” to get their way and manipulate is kind of...Read full review »

I really like this pod and have found all the info on here, as well as ADHD Dude incredibly useful. I am hoping there will be more of a nod to girls with ADHD in the future as I feel the material leans “boy”. Though plenty useful for “kids” with ADHD in general.

I really appreciate ADHD information that is focused on teaching parents and helping children develop into adults who can function and thrive. I’m a medical doctor (not specialized in neuropsych or development) and I get so much out of this and recommend it to everyone.

Guys, I really like your podcast. I also follow Ryan on YouTube. I have a 7 year old son with AuDHD and he profoundly struggles with social executive functioning and perspective taking. It makes a lot of sense to me to teach these children and a natural environment. I just listen to the 10th...Read full review »

It’s been a few years of ups and downs with my 13 year old daughter. When the light bulb went on that it could be ADHD, we got to work and got a diagnosis and are now working on how to bring out the best of our daughter. Episode 5 could have been a synopsis of exactly how my daughter acts and...Read full review »

This podcast needs to be listened to not just by parents with ADHD but all parents. This information is priceless and should be mandatory for any parent with young kids. Great knowledge and evidence to back all arguments up. Great job guys. Keep em coming.

These two gents provide some of the only advice I have found effective with my daughter. It has been so helpful. Would you guys mind doing an episode on what to consider when choosing a school for kids with ADHD? Perhaps even with those who have a little Asperger’s as well.
