“I had to read several books a week in college for my history major, and it largely killed it as a hobby. The French Revolution was a major blindspot for me, so it was very nice to find a well-sourced, properly skeptical, in-depth exploration of that period that doesn't give in to pop history (e.g. this podcast's recent takedown of "Whiff of Grapeshot.")
