Delightful little podcast
Age of Napoleon has an intimate, light feel, which is great for the otherwise ponderous subject matter. Our host is not heavily credentialed, at least not formally, which works to the benefit of the show, it's colloquial mood is a product of his modesty. I don't have an especially strong interest in Napoleon himself, but the shadow Napoleon casts is so long that if you have any interest related to European history (for me it's Proust and 19th century lit),,it's sure to touch on and enrich your particular area of interest, whatever it may be.Read full review »
