I don't need to hear garbage opinions
I thought this was going to present rational, fact-based discussions. I just had to listen to Ross Douhat state that "Republicans in Congress have done a good job of being a check on Trump's policies." That's a ridiculous statement, absurd and based on nothing real or verifiable. I'm not OK with the way conservatives are beginning to adopt Trump's tactic of simply lying whenever he feels like it (an average of 8 times a day, directly to the American people, per the Washington Post.) Please remember that arguments often have more than 2 sides. Issues like corporate influence, social justice, racial inequities, economic recovery, and automation don’t always fall into a neatly packaged right vs left political binary. I have been reading the New York Times op-ed section for over a decade, this feels like it’s going to be a very meaningful podcast based on the first episode, it is great to get to have my favorite columnist coming to life and also to interact with each other, this is going to be great!
