BRAVO! MORE!
Chimamanda Adichie is brilliant. And charming. I could listen to her for hours IMHO, the two interviewers, Goldberg and Coates, are a little light in the loafers here. If only the real JB were still with us -- and I like to think he'd be writing for the Atlantic. But I applaud them for picking such an engaging subject for the first interview. What really thrills me is that this is just one in a flowering of thoughtful podcast shows. In the post-Serial era it seems like every magazine with pretensions of seriousness is bringing out a podcast offering. (Vanity Fair, I'm talking to you!) The Internet (and podcast advertisers) are bringing us a second golden age of on-demand radio. But APPLE, FIX YOUR PODCAST APP !! You know it's F...'d up. Don't be a DB. Come on, now. What did you expect? When you mention others viewpoints only to condescend not to engage in dialog, boys will be boys, and everyone knows if their behavior makes you uncomfortable, well, that's on you. These one on one conversations are great. I love the humor, even around serious subjects. These could be a bit longer, though I guess there’s only limited time to record with important guests.
