…but got hit by the bug of doing so much patreon content that the quality of the main show has been suffering for years. Last few episodes have been increasingly miserable and the hosts seem much happier on literally every other podcast they do. Just let it die lads

The hosts of this show have the energy of people who viciously defended Hillbilly Elegy as an insightful look into the moral failings of the poor and really hope you don’t bring it up now that JD Vance is a republican.

Is OSW if they weren’t funny, were constantly virtue signalling and making sure we know how progressive their private school education has made them. Use to be alright but is now unlistenable.

Been listening since partway through season 1. Always a laugh, and I genuinely look forward to the next release. A wonderful mix of light hearted fun but also not afraid to take the piss where warranted. I love how the hosts look back and reflect on their old opinions. Great listen, recommend to...Read full review »

This podcast got me into wrestling podcasts back in the day. Took a break for a few years because the content wasn’t interesting. Came back and they’ve turned their wrestling podcast into liberal opinion pieces. Believe in what you want but don’t alienate a section of the audience who come for...Read full review »

I have listened to every episode available on Apple and absolutely love this podcast. Billy, Kefin and Adam provide an alternative look at some of the most polarising periods in wrestling, delivered with brutal honesty and humour that keeps me entertained and questioning some of the sports...Read full review »

Kefin, Adam, and Billy have been doing this show for nearly a decade, and rarely does an episode miss (lookin’ at you Ryback book report). When a new episode drops it always brightens up the day. If you are a fan of professional wrestling and have a sense of humor, give it a shot!

Enjoyed the first season greatly. Since then it seems to have lost its way.

Literally the best audio only wrestling podcast and the only one that I consider must listen.
randypinkfloyd via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/23/23
First season was great, unfortunately politics and SJW crawled its way in and now it just isn’t as good as it used to be. Also Kefin will constantly take over conversations at the expense of his other hosts, which becomes increasingly annoying.

Like Botchamania, the attitude era podcast used to be good, it’s not anymore

Found this show in 2014, listened to every episode, genuinely laugh out loud content. But hearing 3 Europeans complain about American politics on a wrestling podcast and try to alienate half of their audience based on vaccination status/social politics is a little odd, guys.

Just listened to the Royal Rumble 2000 episode and was frequently doubled up with laughter. It remains a personal favourite PPV. Now I need to listen to all the episodes. Great work lads.

A while back I used to listen to it almost all the time, but in recent years, I’ve become more and more annoyed with the show. They became too preachy and SJW on some topics. I generally don’t like using current sensibilities to describe stuff from 25-30 years ago, since it was a different time...Read full review »

Genuinely makes me laugh regularly which I love. And I’ve really enjoyed watching the ppvs and then listening to their review after. I do think they are kind of like rtc haha, but I can forgive them for that.

If you like late 90s-early 2002s wrestling there really is no other podcast. Never takes the product or itself too seriously, pokes fun but gives respect when it’s due. Keep it up. Always a treat when it pops up in my feed

I started listening to these guys around the time They releases Rumble 99, and it’s been great hearing their episodes get longer and more in depth. Also, crucially, 3 very socially conscious men talking about wrestling is a refreshing take on things

Funniest podcast and longest I’ve listened to one for. Wish the woke stuff would die down a little, and just wish episodes were more frequent

When the boys are on it’s great there is a genuine chemistry between them that makes for great listening. Unfortunately they are overly sensitive, easily offended, take it all too seriously and go off on politician tangents that’s just kills the enjoyment. Meh

Podcast used to be good, but is now unlistenable. People come to your show for wrestling talk, not your political opinion.

A sometimes entertaining show which is too often derailed by the antics of the host, Kevin. At some point during the lifespan of the podcast, the decision was clearly made that meandering unfocused non-sequiturs, references to obscure need-culture and voice impersonations are more important to...Read full review »

Has never stopped being funny and continues to take me back. The three guys feel like friends from school and just great fun to reminisce on bonkers TV through three funny people. Always a highlight. Best wrestling pod alongside OSW if you’re already a fan of that.

The AE Boyz are a blast to listen to. Total nostalgia, escapism and genuinely funny. They’re having a great time, so it feels like YOU’RE having a great time. This podcast is great, everyone on it is super funny. They don’t rant and ramble about politics like some reviewers say; some people just apparently fly into a rage if you point out that something hasn’t aged well in passing. That guy who left a one star review without watching it is stupid, and...Read full review »

I don’t listen to wrestling podcasts to hear about people’s political options, don’t go beyond the first season because the political stuff takes over from there on, it’s so sad.

A bit over the top with woke-ness when condemning content that wouldn’t be suitable for current times. Especially when mocking those that were suffering from addictions

BUT after reading reviews about the political b.s. they spew, I think I will pass. God forbid a wrestling podcast talks about wrestling and not their Trump Deranged syndrome. Pathetic.

I’ve listened to the Attitude Era Podcast everyday for the past five years. You may think that’s an exaggeration, but I always have one playing. I used to love this podcast, but there was a point I was just over it. I used to LOVE this podcast. I would binge it on my shifts every day of every week.
