“I was in the high school band with Jeanie and knew her well. Most of us (young women) were aware of what a danger he was and of others he targeted. But in those days teenage girls had no agency. It is immensely disappointing he has still not really been held to account. The incredible bravery of both Jeanie and Anne Marie to speak out hopefully makes a difference. Their remaining pain is unbearable.”
