A limited and biased perspective in the podcast
In the podcast "The Banned Teacher," victims courageously share their experiences with a teacher who they claim violated their bodily integrity. It is commendable that they are speaking out and sharing their stories, and it is important to respect their bravery. Unfortunately, it must be noted that the host presents the podcast from a biased perspective, specifically a feminist standpoint. This has resulted in a one-sided and biased portrayal of the situation, which diminishes the overall quality of the podcast. It is crucial to approach sensitive issues in a balanced manner and shed light on different perspectives. By solely focusing on the feminist perspective, there is a risk of overlooking other important aspects of the story. This can lead to a lack of objectivity and a limited understanding of the situation. Furthermore, the podcast gives the impression of condemning and "canceling" the 'perpetrator,' which is disheartening. It is important to address the issue of responsibility in a responsible manner and uphold the principle of presumption of innocence until proven otherwise. In conclusion, while it is commendable that the podcast provides a platform for victims, it is evident that the presentation adopts a biased and one-sided approach. A balanced approach and respect for the principles of fairness and justice would strengthen the podcast and contribute to a better understanding of the situation.Read full review »

I also have doubts with someone coming forward after reading about details in the papers. I am also on the fence about the episode “Crush.” She...Read full review »

This is an example of exceptional investigative journalism. The conversation is real, raw, and sometimes difficult to digest but completely necessary. It evoked such strong emotions in me. We need more conversations like this. No one should suffer, especially in silence.
