“I am glad that Coby was called out that this is HIS issue, (ie-the threatening of divorce when it did not match result) but I am so appalled that this behavior is not named as ABUSIVE. Ashlynn has already put up with this man cheating on her and now she is supposed to hang in there when he has hurt feelings and wants to threaten to divorce her? I am obviously more than annoyed with the therapist for not naming this as the same addict cycle (get your feelings hurt and cheat or get your feelings hurt and threaten divorce...they are both destructive and both not okay) This behavior was justified on the podcast as “Coby's anxious attachment” style and “something to roll your eyes at” when there are simply no justifications for it. A mature man does not threaten divorce when his feelings get hurt or he is feeling unloved. This is adjacent addict behavior and I wish this podcast shared how to have firmer boundaries to not tolerate any further abuse or trauma for women who have already been through so much.”Read full review »
