A simple pleasure
This has become one of my regular weekly podcast listens- as a casual Beatles fan it’s been nice to learn more about their processes and discover songs I hadn’t really heard. Lovely dynamic between brothers Garry and Paul too- one equipped with all the most intimate facts and details of the band and the other desperate to figure out what makes the music so good (and in what order!) perfect for Monday mornings.

Really liked the random selection of 5 songs per episode and the discussion of the music, production, and lyrics, even when I don’t agree with the “scores” given.

Why doesn’t Paul get to give marks?! Seems bizarre. Would balance it up, lead to more informed score. And faintly hilarious how precise Gregg’s marks are, eg 91.5.
