The Bob Arum interview is in Simmons’ wheelhouse. He should co host the Blue Plate Special Podcast. Think of the guests he’d pull in.

The Bob Arum podcast with Bill is the most funny and interesting podcast i have ever heard. From JFK to Ali’s taste in women - i was totally engrossed. Bill can you get more of the old timers on your show with amazing inside stories like Bob.

Bob Arum was fantastic

The Bob Arum podcast was one your best in a while. His stories were hilarious and you were fully engaged. I think when you’re taking the time to listen and giving your natural reaction without going to the next question so quickly it is the best. That was happened during that whole pod. Keep it...Read full review »

At 87?! What a legend! Memory and speech of a 60 year old!
MinnesotaOG via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/15/19
Quite possibly my favorite interview in years, or ever. Bill, confidently and ingeniously, let Arum speak with minimal interruption. Arum has had a hilarious and fascinating life. And tells a great story.

BS Pod Best version of itself is the less “takey” one. Bob Arum, rolling out jewels about Marvin Hagler, followed by Hell’s Angels and Evel Knievel. Delightful.

Oh good. Another 30 minutes on the Celtics. I wondered what was new with their chemistry in the last 3 days.

Used to be good. As he has grown more out of touch with sports, defaults to Boston bias.

The majority of the episodes have very compelling topics. Enjoy guests like Bill's friends Jacko and House from DC. I just skip Cousin Sal episodes because I am not a gambler. Bill's NBA insights are always compelling and appreciated.

Get Kevin Garnett and ray Lewis on the same pod and talk to them about defense and the will to win. Please...let KG go off!!! That would be the pod of the year

The one star reviews of this are laughable, ESPN homers complaints that he takes digs at his old job and Goodell every podcast is very much false. Great podcast highly recommend this and the rewatchables! Go ringer!

Listening to Bill, you have an opportunity to dive deep into the NBA, past and present. Listening to his take on the players and franchises and his “what if “ trades are awesome too. His podcast is much more than this, from Cousin Sal to A-List movie stars and directors, you get a wide range of...Read full review »

Bill’s podcast has been a staple in my rotation for years. The sports guy is great. I love the humor mixed in with interesting topics. The old buddies he brings on are a riot as well. Good stuff!

The Ringer talent has far surpassed Bill’s podcasting skills, but he still gets 5⭐️ for being The Boss.

Bill Simmons and the numerous guests are absolutely fantastic. A podcast I can listen to day after day and be interested in. All of my friends love it and I’ve learned a lot. Even got interested in some of the other ringer podcasts as well. Would recommend to anyone out there.

Bill, You have to stop interrupting and talking over your guests. It's out of control. You used to be a great interviewer. Now you seem to think that what you have to say about watching The West Wing (for example) is more important than what Aaron Sorkin has to say about actually making it. This...Read full review »

Everyone from Kevid Durant, to Matt Damon, to tech CEOs, to delinquent gambling buddies of BS show up on this pod - there's always a thoughtful take or a new perspective

When will Bill get around to addressing the elephant in the room during parent corner? He jokingly hints at parental neglect, but has yet to touch on the most glaring example of all. The fact that his pre-teen son is clearly dying of AIDS. This reflects his blatant disregard, not only as a...Read full review »

I came to this podcast because of sports and stayed for the pop culture and Cousin Sal! And then Aaron Sorkin came on and my world became complete.

I really loved this podcast early on with Cousin Sal and his fun interviews. Let’s be honest though... he doesn’t know a thing about politics and it shows. “Trump does those things and that stuff.” That’s the extent of his political knowledge. He only does this to keep his Hollywood friends....Read full review »

Entertaining and (usually) well thought out basketballs perspectives. Does a good job of framing current NBA trends versus historical.

Big BS fan going back to grantland. Still a solid nba podcast, but the celts/pats/BoSox segments are wayyyy to repetitive. Likes - Sal, general nba talk, and good sports guests (Zach Lowe).
