“We only have so much time in our life, and Erik recognizes this. He has chosen to read the great books, the books, that have influenced people for thousand of years. Allowed people to form new ideas on many subject matters. To read the current books that have not stood the test of time can be a poor use of time. Time is our enemy and he grew to understand this and focused on the great books. A task we all would grow a lot from. The progressions he makes in his thinking has been deeply valuable.
