Great companion podcast to a fantastic and important show
The HBO miniseries “Chernobyl” is dramatic, horrifying, tragic, and moving. This podcast, in which the writer of the series is interviewed by Peter Sagal, provides a very interesting look into the creative choices made in dramatizing the story, as well as providing additional background and information on the many elements (no pun intended) of the events that couldn't be included in the show.Read full review »

I’m rating the podcast content, not the HBO miniseries, which is masterful. The podcast is dreadful. I truly hated Sagal’s embarrassing, clumsy allusion to Trump’s presidency after discussing some of the events at Chernobyl. It's amazing to have a podcast hosted by the creator and writer of the miniseries Chernobyl. If only the podcast could go a little further, and present more facts, or other stories Craig Mazin found during his research, that would be really incredible !
