I grew up loving books. They gave me a great advantage in school over my classmates. But with time, failing eyes, family and busy work load, who has time for a good book? Anyone Now! Classic Tales brings to life the novels with the spoken word and your mind's eye. You can "read" a good book on lunch or at work. For the month of October, classic horror ready me and my son for Halloween. Great way to introduce a modern teen to "The Legend of Sleepy Hallow." I knew he never read it but listen to it, ahh! I truly wanted to get past BJ's annoying, pretentious delivery and catch up on some classics, but I just couldn't take it. I listened to "The Jumping Frog of Calaveras County" and much prefered his exaggerated crochetty old man voice to his "normal" narration. Had to...Read full review »
