Suggestion
There's a lot to like in these audios, but a great lesson for B.J. to learn is the wisdom of "less is more." The listener has to cringe at times when the emotions swell and the reader starts to emote. Ordinary passages of narration come across great. There are certainly a lot of deadly dull and lifeless audiobooks being podcast, but that doesn't justify going to the opposite exteme of such hand-wringing. Cultivate self-restraint! That would put The Classic Tales Podcast in that happy medium between the boring and the hammy.Read full review »
