PLUS, a detailed breakdown of today's solar eclipse! Unfortunately my internet failed us before we could get to the use of Differential Learning in working with players that have flat shots (thus the reason for the abrupt ending) , so we will get to that at the beginning of the next episode!

I've admired Phil Beckner for a while now. He's best known as Damian Lillard's personal coach, but he does so much more. A couple of months before this episode was created, Phil called me for an opinion on something he was doing, and it took our relationship to another level. I give the analogy that we are both Doctors, but i might be more of specialist but Phil is more of General Practitioner. While i might be viewed as a shooting expert, very specific types of players would benefit from my...

Coleman Ayers of By Any Means Basketball is a force. He's smart, he's researched, he's creative and has a desire to keep learning. I think he's one of the best skills trainers out there right now just because of how well researched he is in how athletes learn and how they move, but also how well he communicates those ideas. This is a great episode for coaches of all levels.

It's time for Coach Dave Love to "play the hits". Coaches love drills. Now, there is a lot more that goes into shooting development than just drills, but that doesn't mean they aren't important. In this episode I dive into the foundational 3 form shooting drills I use, and how I use them.

One of my favourite things about my job is getting to connect with high level coaches. Nick Sullivan is a graduate assistant at Gonzaga and someone I've been helping for a couple months now. The questions Nick asks are exactly the kind of questions a lot of coaches would love to have the chance to ask, so we made one of the calls a podcast!
