“Stuart is a scholar of modern comedy. His interviewing technique is great for settling and getting his subjects comfortable. There's an honesty from Stuart himself that brings everything back to the subject brilliantly.
For the uninitiated, I recommend diving in with two polar opposite ends of what to expect. Can I suggest starting with Alexei Sayle and seeing how Stuart grapples (reverently enough) with a living legend, who also happens to be breathtakingly arrogant and myopic about the state of current British comedy (if not the current British comedian)?
Then go for Kim Noble; an underrated, experienced, original, and almost maddeningly humble contributor to modern comedy.
Somewhere in the middle lies Robert Popper. Do him third.”Read full review »

“The podcast is to comedy, what jazz is to musicians: an interesting and enjoyable exposition on the art of comedy. Accessible and never pretentious. I really recommend it!”
