Normalized behaviors in dance that are actually toxic... let's talk about them! There are so many wonderful traits that dance training encourages us to develop such as self-discipline and perseverance, but let's be honest... sometimes it goes a little too far. Since awareness is the first steps in the process of change, I am making this video to shed light on these behaviors dancers often do (or are encouraged to do) so we can start to takes steps towards practicing healthier behaviors that will help us to have sustainable dance careers. Stay tuned for part 2 of this video next week where we will be taking about behaviors teachers do that are normalized but toxic!
