“The episode on going to counseling with a narcissist gave me flashbacks to how insidious it is when the therapist sides with the covert narcissist because they have no training about dealing with this personality style. I wish I had known to look for a trauma-informed therapist who is knowledgeable about narcissistic abuse. Please make sure you try to find one. My ex is a celebrity, which made it all the more difficult. He charmed the therapist while I wept. I’m divorced three years now and still recovering from decades of abuse. Thanks for your podcast.
