Really interesting podcast that I have no doubt we’ll be hearing more about in the news over the next few years. But, Lucy Proctors inability to say the word twenty properly filled me with rage every time she said twenee twenee, which was a lot!

I had a friend that died from BSE and I myself couldn’t donate blood because I lived in the UK for a while… its important to remember, also for the next time

This is a fascinating series that leaves you with many questions - but rightly so.

15 minute episodes with 4 minutes of ads--could have been one episode. Good informative content.

Informative and interesting, well presented, relevant interviews. Short episodes and easy to listen to, volume levels even. Well worth a listen.

This is an amazing podcast that I was referred to after ‘The Coming Storm’. However, I agree with the other commenters that this is too short. Lots of interesting angles to the story that are opened up and not really addressed - this deserves a proper deep dive like The Coming Storm...Read full review »

The cows are mad gives a reasonable picture of how BSE still matters to many people. And gives insights into why it’s still relevant when looking at COVID and other current diseases. But you wish every episode could be twice or thrice as long. Then the podcast could really get to grips with every...Read full review »

Great topic, and Lucy Proctor is fantastic.... but ruined by being 15 minute episodes INCLUDING intro/recap and adverts for other podcasts. Really frustrating way to listen. Just as you're getting into it, it finishes. This is the second BBC podcast that I've seen do similar. Puts me off...Read full review »
