“Informative, straightforward, and very interesting investigation into current topics in technology and cyber-law. While the podcast doesn't necessarily have the most nuts-and-bolts understanding of the tech, they clearly have extremely deep knowledge of the legal side.
Just as a warning: this isn't any easy podcast to drop into as a layperson. The discussion moves quickly and the hosts often make glancing references to background cases or precedent that you won't know. If you stick with it, this podcast quickly becomes more scrutable.
Particularly fun to me is hear Mr. Baker's (to my mind) right-wing attitudes toward most of the problems discussed. Raised a liberal, I've often found myself in violent disagreement with Stewart's hot take on any given issue. His descriptions of how the government works don't fit with how I *know* they operate. Turns out, I usually don't really know much about how cyberlaw works, or even how the government's internal checks and balances work. This podcast is an education.
I have only two quibbles with this podcast. First, I often think the guests should be allowed to talk more. Stewart, we know it's your podcast, no need to beat everyone over the head with it. Secondly, everyone says "um", "er", or "ahh" too much. Eliminate those filler words people!”Read full review »

“As much as I disagree with some of Stewart’s political positions, there is no doubt that this is the most balanced and thorough analysis of data regulation available.
One of the few sources to call out the EU’s pipe-dream regulatory regime, and the UK’s idiocy in trying to control online...”Read full review »
