The evolution of this podcast has been disappointing - there is not even an attempt now to hide the clear bias in the reporting. As a long time listener who has been historically supportive of the Daily as being relatively objective in its reporting, I can no longer say that. Today’s episode...Read full review »

I listen to this podcast daily and find it to be so informative and well researched. A huge congratulations to Michael Barbara for the extremely difficult conversation he had with the Police Union Leader. It was such an emotional listen but he asked all the right questions in such a respectful...Read full review »

Unsubscribing! Instead of genuinely being an independent journalists, this podcast concentrates scolding the President. The omitting fact that there are thousands of videos of whites being beaten by blacks, the fact that 4th of July Atlanta shooting went unnoticed, you focus on President’s...Read full review »

You’re so liberal it’s disgusting. Can you report on anything without making it political or liberal.

I like your podcast but I cringe every time you say “President Trump”. I wish you would say Donald Trump. His presidency is a disgrace.

The stories and information are top notch; the delivery by Barbaro and others on the show are strange. Why does Barbaro pause so awkwardly between words when delivering the news at the end of the show? Why does he sound normal with guests and then switch to William Shatner when telling us “the...Read full review »

Michael Barbaro is quirky, but he’s a good presenter. You can always tell when the presenter gives more time to his guest then to himself.

Nomally I give the Daily at least 4 stars. However, when we are confronting institutionalized racially motivated lynching, that is widespread and longstanding, there is no ‘meeting in the middle’. The black community- and the people at large- have spoken with their feet. Let’s not pretend that...Read full review »

I know you would get it right and everyone should be informed of what’s going on here. Please keep doing what you guys are doing, you guys are truly great.

I just started listening to this daily news podcast after subscribing to the New York Times for a year through their app version of the paper. Show is generally a deep dive into one topic from the news each day. It’s a little hokey in that the host asks predetermined questions and acts like he is hearing the information for the first time. While it can be good, it is deeply biased to a liberal viewpoint. It is the left’s version of Fox...Read full review »

I enjoy listening. It’s a way to be caught up on important issues without needing to sit for hours and watch the news, it’s thoughtful in-depth, but not drawn out. I listen while doing dishes, driving, cleaning etc. Michael Barbaro’s voice is my 2nd favorite, first favorite being Keith Morrison.

I’ve been a listener for several months. The clumsy / disrespectful Vince Champion interview and some misleading statements made during the Rabbit Hole series wrap up have me questioning the integrity of the journalism. Still better than CNN but very biased. Needs fact checking.

This might be the most cogent and illuminating conversation I’ve heard on policing/race/violence. And it was possible because it is a conversation between two people who did not agree, but who laid out their arguments calmly, rationally, and respectfully.

The officer/union leader misses/misidentifies the assignment of stimulus and response.
