The New York Times has a really suspect way of just never talking about class war. The student debt experts was insane. I didn’t know where you found her. The Biden guy didn’t even mention that most of the “left” wanted Bernie, but the Democratic Party decided to sabotage him. The left does not...Read full review »

The New York City progressive perspective on so much of American policy is a huge weak spot with the show. For example their show about how President Biden became unpopular is almost comedy for how out of touch with the country it it is. Their coverage of the Covid story shared the arc of...Read full review »

The recent episode celebrating real estate investment and irresponsible, frantic home purchasing was completely disgusting. The ad for the real estate investment company at the end was just the cherry on top. I won’t be listening again.

Please speak in a conversational tone without pushing your voice! It is so annoying.

It’s an ok show. I listened for almost two years, but the lack of variety in topics has become so abundantly obvious; each time I try to start listening it’s something I’ve already heard about— more Covid, more housing crisis, more war devastation. I feel like we’re being hit over the head with...Read full review »

Simply listen to the “why it’s so hard to buy a home in America” episode and hear the rich, entitled couple “ from” Brooklyn who “couldn’t find” a home in Austin, TX. thing is, they could find a home, it just didn’t have the paint color they liked or was *gasp* one with shared walls! Thought provoking interviews in a podcast that approaches a variety of relevant, contemporary subjects from several different angles. I’ve learned so much from this show and there are many episodes that give me food for thought many days and weeks after I listen to them. My only gripe is that...Read full review »

To add…the numerous episodes on gun control are little more than an effort to show an anti-American bias and propaganda for an agenda with little support. You are truly sliding from news to some form of gaslighting where you abuse Americans for their belief in American values. Please turn this...Read full review »

So this weekend they uploaded to The Daily an episode of some op-ed podcast where the interviewer gave some 45 minutes of air time to a far-right anti-schools lobbyist without challenging his extremist ideas in the slightest. Look, I support learning about one’s opponents. But right-wing media...Read full review »

Michael tries to shape the narrative to fit his world view. Hmmm... He’d also like for Monkey Pox to be more serious than it is, even when the doctor is telling him the contrary. “Monkey Pox will typically cause a light fever and rash.” “But it can kill you?” “Very rarely, yes.” “Hmmmm, that’s...Read full review »

I listened to this podcast randomly to get up to speed on current news stories. I was stunned they covered the Depp/Heard trial, but not the fact that someone was intending to murder a Supreme Court judge. Would they have done the same if it would have been RBG?

Can we please stop pushing the idea that we must “believe all women” and that Amber Heard represents the #metoo movement. Super biased episode that didn’t explore any of the nuance that drove this recall. I expect this hyper-superficial level of commentary from a Redditor, not the New York Times. Did you even talk to anyone from San Francisco? Particularly Asians? Disappointing to say the least.

Five stars generally but the choice to use Audm narrators for the Sunday reads is painful. Voices are robotic and even an engaging story feels flat. I want to hear the journalists voice. Run an experiment and you’ll find I’m hardly alone in preferring to hear stories read by the writers.
