Good show...for a while
I appreciate Dave's compassion for his destitute callers and his sound plan, but I was able to gather all of his insights after the first three podcasts. Once you've mastered the basics (build emergency fund, pay off debts small to large, invest, drop car leases) there's not much else to hear from a educational standpoint, especially if you're like me and already a natural saver. I still enjoy listening occasionally, but listen to "Creating Wealth on Your Current Income" and read "Money" magazine for more specific financial insights on investing, taxes, and retirement planning.Read full review »

This would be an ok podcast if every three words he didnt say umm... in the first three minutes he probably said at least 30-40 times if not umm its uhh.... just in me writing this hes said it 20-30 times maybe.... ummmmm.... uhhhhh.....

Wow, how soft do you have to be to say Dave is too arrogant. His show is great and to the point. People are not smart enough to keep from making simple financial mistakes. Obviously (myself included) we don't have common financial knowledge. I just wish that this was taught in high school,...Read full review »
