Too scripted
I'm sorry but I couldn't get into this. The host states in the beginning that he realizes it sounds a little scripted, but that's to draw audiences attention. Well I hate to break it to you, but other crime podcasts don't need scripts to bring an audience. Stick to the facts and that's fascinating enough. The reenactment of him and his wife arguing was so off putting I had to stop listening. Disappointing since it sounded very intriguing, especially since I live in MA.Read full review »

Season one was interesting, well written, and had a good pace. Season 2 is predictable, over produced, and just not interesting. If an episode is 24 minutes long, expect about 14 minutes of dialogue and 10 minutes of sound effects and synthesized music. It’s sadly a waste of time

I came across this serial by chance and I stayed up till 3 am this morning listening to episode after episode. The story drew me in and the voice performances are amazing, especially the central character. Definitely worth losing sleep over. I really don’t want this to end.

I was unsure about the podcast at the big inning with all the bio background information, but the mystery really picks up around episode 3 and it feels very compelling! I’m excited to keep listening!
