“Robin Doolittle should not fill in anymore for this podcast. As one commentator said about the June 2nd podcast: “ Doolittle claims to "hate" that "people are viewing this as some test of #metoo rather than evaluating it on its individual merits". Yet, both Doolittle and Bedera are both guilty of doing precisely that. They assign to Depp and Heard, stereotypical roles that neatly fit their ideology. Depp IS the abuser. Heard IS the victim, despite what the evidence or common sense bears out. No need for any further complexity.
Bedera implies that the public is irrationally preoccupied in tearing down Heard by searching for a "smoking gun" and "little tiny pieces of irrelevant evidence as a way to prove that Amber Heard lied". What a gross mischaracterization of her testimony. Throughout the trial she was evasive, contradicted her own previous statements and testimony, and on more than one occasion, came dangerously close to perjuring herself.
If there is a danger to the #metoo movement, it can be found in the actions of bad-faith accusers like Heard and the zealotry of commentators/supporters like Doolittle, and Bedera who erode the movement's legitimacy, by refusing to accept the reality and complexity of individual cases. “”Read full review »

“Many of the interview subjects are allowed to give their spiel without any tough, but necessary questions from the host. For example the “case for vaccine passports” that “ interviewed” the civil liberties union spokesperson never challenged her commentary about all the reasons that passports...”Read full review »
