“As a White guy, I'm becoming more sensitive to the need to listen to diverse voices. But of the 16 most recent guests on this podcast, 75% are both White and Male. As far as I can tell, there were two Black guests -- both presenting as male -- and three women. Many of the problems of Evangelical Christianity can be traced to excessive listenting to White Male points of view pretty much exclusively. I would like to see more balance in the lineup, more attempt for the hosts to step outside their comfort zone. If you don't know any non-White-Males, you might consider some of the guests on Evolving Faith, which does pretty well at diversity.”Read full review »
