Fitz Cahall's collection of stories create an intimate portrait of what adventure means. The beautiful places along with the characters who journey to them are simultaneously fantastical and gritty, and the simple radio show format lends itself to extensive day dreaming. I loved A Thousand Words, the photos that accompanied the show brought right into Corey Rich's world. There are not many people telling stories of what it means to live on the Edge; of what it means to experiences harmony and conflict both with the natural world and ourselves.
