Allons-y!
It's BIG! It's BLUE! It's the BIG BLUE BOX PODCAST!!! If you're a fan of Doctor Who, this is the podcast for you! You'd be mad not to listen to this; I've never heard more interesting 'waffle' than Garry and Adam's. It's a great way to kick-start your weekend with each episode being released on a Friday at 7am (or 6am if Garry's feeling a bit cheeky) although I tend to listen to it on the Friday afternoon/ Saturday. The podcast itself is split into four parts; their experiences from the past week, general 'Who' news, merchandise in 'Merch corner' (Dalek Tat!) and a review of a Doctor Who story (this alternates between a classic serial one week and a modern episode the next), so there's plenty for everyone. You can also send in your thoughts and reviews on said Doctor Who story to be read out/ played (if it's an audio clip) at the end. With a quote from each Doctor, the Tennant theme tune and the standard greeting "Hey Who fans!", the opening gives you an incredible adrenaline rush to quickly get you into a 'Who' mood. With their extensive knowledge, Garry and Adam never fail to inform you on interesting facts and figures. However, don't trust them with names; hilarity ensues when they're trying to remember a name that they've both forgotten... It's always fun playing along trying to guess the mystery name of an actor or story! Whether it's an anecdote of how Garry got into trouble for taking a photo in the Who Shop or hearing about Adam's empty wallet due to numerous conventions, books and Robert Harrop figures, the podcast is always a joy to listen to! You always feel part of their conversations and I couldn't recommend it enough. I've been listening since around episode 75 and I can't believe it's took me this long to write a review... Keep calm and waffle on!Read full review »

I’ve been listening to TBBBP for years now after being introduced to it by my son when he was at the peak of his Who obsession. His obsession may have waned somewhat, but the podcast remains a highlight of my week. I’d mainly avoided Who podcasts before this one, as I’d found a lot of them to be...Read full review »
