Enlightening, Fun, and Educational
This podcast covers history from the Soviet Russian perspective. It was enlightening to me to find out that the Russians were more afraid of America than we were of them. (This coming from a member of the last generation to do the "Duck and Cover" drills as well as had a nuclear bunker in his elementary school. This show is entertaining, and Kristaps' style is very good. However, the ads have gotten out of control. Placed in the middle of the episode, rather than the end(who does this?), they just ruin the flow of the episode. And they have gotten longer and longer. Very informative and entertaining at the same time. History of an under-represented era with wonderful first and second hand anecdotal stories. You will enjoy this.
