Absolutely top notch
I was 7 when this happened and ironically was living literally on the same street as the lodge at the time. I still remember being outside with our class and another teacher came past saying to my teacher “the governor-General has just sacked the Prime Minister”. This series goes way beyond what I previously knew. And is the best audio visual history of the time. If you can find it the old Kennedy-Miller mini-series from 1983 is a good dramatisation of the whole Whitlam govt. essential listening if you want to understand Australian politics and particularly the motivations the underscored how at least the next 4 PMs ran their governments.
