“I’ve read and watched many perspectives about the dismissal but had not heard about some of the events, personalities and their interactions in the lead up. Well written, narrated and researched.”

“I wasn’t born yet when the dismissal of Gough went down, and I’ve only known the bare bones of the story. The ‘Eleventh’ opened my eyes to this scandalous time in Australian history. What a wild tale and what a cast of characters! A great listen. Excellent journalism, well done Alex Mann and all...”Read full review »

“Good podcast, but missed the bass by election, in June 75 , a safe labor seat , for decades , something like a 17% swing to the libs.my parents lived there an were an are labor voters, they in the only time in there life voted for Fraser in the December federal election. Why, they were so...”Read full review »
“Very interesting story, however in typical ABC fashion, reporting is very left leaning with a lot of information left out because it doesn’t suit their narrative.”

“At a 2weeks shy of my 8th birthday I was too young to understand what happened on the 11-11-75. I have hear odds and sods over the years but never a complete story such as this. Thank you so much for bridging this gap in my knowledge. An easy 5star podcast.”

“Very Good details and facts about the dismissal. Very well researched. Presented nicely with great interviews. My only and greatest criticism is that the presenter and therefore the overall series tends to lean “left” with a bias towards Labour and GW.”

This podcast is well structured with great interviews giving a thorough and interesting account of tumultuous period in Australian politics.”

“It would be very easy (well, less difficult) to make this series without including any of the human aspects of it— without noting, for example, that Geoff Whitman and Malcolm Fraser later became friends or that the Governor-General basically drank himself to death and was a rather tragic figure....”Read full review »
