Jeff is an excellent host, as it shows that he takes time to ask thoughtful questions of his guests. Because of this, it’s difficult for the guests to offer cookie-cutter answers. The answers necessarily must have depth.

This is career advice with the “engineering” mindset and values in mind – which include being technically competent, helpful and just a little bit geeky.
