Interviews w/Confirmation Bias
This is clearly a radio level quality podcast with the ability to get DC area academic, think tank, and media guests. Often times the guests are interesting and can share ideas or thoughts that are of note. After listening to a few episodes, it's quite clear that one of the main tactics the host employs is to inject his theories, beliefs, and posits into his questions and long setups. It can become quite distracting, and becomes a sort of confirmation bias to his posits or thoughts with "wouldn't you say" or "do you agree" being the actual question rather then let the guests layout the discussion. The Federalist and its redoubatble staff including Ben Domenich, Mollie Hemingway, David Harsanyi is the first place I go every day for reasoned discussion of today's political and social issues. My husband and I love this podcast ... smart, articulate hosts, with interesting topics and guests on the show. Conservative but not inflammatory (or too one-sided) like some media outlets.
