Fun
Fun when not distracted by one of the host’s relentless yawning, during his own podcast. Or distracted by them dissing many of your favorite movies.

I found this podcast on accident while searching for interviews with Matt Stone and Trey Parker, but I thoroughly enjoyed the ride. From their morning Zoo Crew soundboard to their set in stone opinions, the Film Thugs have a very refreshing podcast. Although some of their anecdotes will appear to...Read full review »

Their newest edition to the podcast, Life Masters, is my favorite. I think its a fun change of pace from their usual film topics and mixes it up a bit.

Insightful, entertaining and a must to all film films.

A monstrosity of ecstasy and a biography of nudity for you and me. This is the greatest thing that has ever happened to anyone ever! - Not Clarkson of The Film Thugs Movie Show

How does one describe The Film Thugs? Rough and hard-hitting, but knowledgeable. They give you their opinion and if you don’t like it, tough. These guys can be stone-cold drunk and be able to talk coherently on film. Not your normal bar buddies. Each episode is different, focusing on different...Read full review »

Life Masters or Film Thugs, enjoy both. The reviews and personal stories are great. I don't get all of the references played in the show, but they don't deter from enjoying the show.Read full review »

From guys who know movies but are not stuffy critics. Also with 20% more Sinestro and 40% more Big Trouble in Little China than any other podcast.

I've listened to this show for years now and Jim and Clarkson keep getting better at what they do. Just imagine having a discussion about film, television, and current events at your favorite bar, and that's what the show feels like. (Although I can't decide who's Sam and...Read full review »

Only started listening about 2 weeks ago, and since then listened to at least 10 back dated episodes. Through those episodes I've laughed, agreed disagreed, laughed and been mildly offended.... These guys tell it how it is, non pretentious views on how they felt about the movies, what a relief....Read full review »

Need a shot of reality in movie discussion? You found it. Leave your etiquette at the door, unless it's how to act at the theater. Then, beware of Dick Buckets (tm). "All those nice things..." Brilliant.Read full review »

This is my go to podcast for movie insight. The chemistry of the two hosts, Jim and Clarkson, is superbly effortless. Funny, knowledgeable, and not following the crowd with fanboy enthusiasm, the Film Thugs is a refreshingly honest view of Hollywood and beyond. This show jumps to the top of my...Read full review »

Very knowlegable and highly opinionated discussions are what you get with the Film Thugs. If you want to get away from the political correctness, give the thugs a listen. They are not afriad to call someone stupid if they think it is nessary.

Longtime friends Messrs. Dirkes and Campbell talk about films old and new. Under their gruff exteriors are men who love films made to serve truth, craftmanship, story, and a rigorous examination of life. They talk about good movies - light comedies, suspense, action, documentaries - recent and...Read full review »

These guys bring the thunder every episode. Not quite like any other movie podcast out there, this one is blunt, crude, informative, and frequently hilarious. Well done, sirs.

These guys are pretty pleased with how they turned out. What they say can be interesting but I am sick sick sick of listening to these guys slurp their coffee etc. It is just gross to hear.

Good in the fact that we like the same kind of films, but the level of profanity in this show goes beyond any taste or even common sense.
