Pretty Terrible
If you want to listen to an uninformed housewife beautifully recite information she read on the internet or express hair brained ideas Or listen to a well spoken barely novice level hiker husband who has obviously impressed his clueless wife with basic knowledge; then by all means give this show a listen. The gear reviews are well done but ridiculous. Reusing water flavoring drop bottles for "essential oils" or cleaning ones person with white gas are just the tip. They couple are stuck on the big box store gear suppliers. The worst review has to be an obviously paid endorsement for Case knives by 2 people that know nothing about knives other than the internet description and that it should have a hole to tie it to your backpack... If you day hike a few times a year and want to hear some borderline advice that is well produced in a clear and concise manner, have at it. Too bad these two don't have a thru hike experience. I am glad the wife is excited about her new hobby but she should wait until she has more experience before dishing out advice.Read full review »

I don’t get out and hike nearly as often as they do, but I like listening as an escape from the subway dark and dirty commute. As an East Coast gal, I can’t relate to a lot of what they say about weather and the...Read full review »
