Like a Mixed Bag of Lettuce
I am a long time listener of The Food Programme but like a bag of pre-packed supermarket lettuce, it can be very hit and miss - very mixed and sometimes crisp and fresh and at other times, rather limp and tasteless. It is fair to say that they cover a really wide range of topics and presenting styles and their presentation and involvement in the Food and Farming Awards is really informative and enjoyable. On an increasing basis however it feels like they are becoming rather one dimensional and have a definite bias towards certain food and farming agendas. I hope that maybe they will review their programming and once again return to the positive, informative, balanced, thought provoking listening that made this my go to podcast.
