An podcast/youtube episode of TGC after a day’s play of cricket is like the cherry on the sundae. I love it more than Higgo’s loves Ralph Lauren shirts or Pezza hates the English Bazball wanksters esp in the media. Love the astute cricketing nuggets & observations delivered...Read full review »

1st non Indian podcast talking some sense about what’s really happening in the series. I think bazeball only works on pitches that are only in batsmen’s favour & have very little for bowlers especially spinners. Only reason Ashes was 2-2 was because Lyon got injured

Boring repetitive “jokes” nonsensical over exaggerated laughing

My wife walked in whilst I was listening to your podcast and now she won’t look me in the eyes. Thanks for the serenity.

You guys are absolute d1cks but I love it!

Dull. Listen back to you lot geeking out about the Aussie batting line up in Nagpur, before you got hammered. If there was an Ashes for Podcasts you would get hammered 5 nil home and away. Zero Ducks Given and Middle Please Umpire a million times better. One Star well generous.

I remember listening to this previously and enjoyed it but more recently turned it off due to the unnecessary language used

Simply the greatest cricket podcast going around. Even better when England are good and Australia are bad

The cordial ratio’s are just so, the bbq shapes are baked not fried, and I’m generally both baked and fried when I listen to the episodes. Good insight into this much maligned game, great guests, and even when being earnest by putting together a fitting tribute to the king S.K Warne they still...Read full review »

Incredible podcast and Pez and Higgo are brilliant. They're relentless with their content and have nailed the balance between comedy and insightful cricket journalism. I have been a Patreon for over a year and would recommend it to anyone that listens to the Pod, not only for the content but...Read full review »

Loved it before, now it’s become a woke-fest and India worship-a-thon. You can tell where the money comes from.

Don’t know why I like this, but I do! Good listening while in the bath. 5-0 England win this upcoming ashes Bring Woakes ECB! Can tell these guys are worried.

This is a difficult review to write. I’m not used to finding anything remotely amusing from Australia apart from that chap Mick Lewis who went for 113 against the Jaapies in THAT ODI game back in the day. That WAS funny. Since then, not so much. Sadly as I go about my business in public, AirPods...Read full review »

Great stuff with the Whispering Death special ep.

Higgos and Pez are fantastic not only when interviewing guests as they use a comedic, light hearted approach to interviewing people but the parts where they speak to one another as well. They’re both hilarious and inspiring in the way they go about their podcast so authentically. It’s a shame...Read full review »

A great one for all those who identify as BOYS and those who don’t identify as BOYS. Informative, self deprecating and philosophical; it’s fundamentally a cricket podcast but dabbles in all fields of life. The BOYS don’t take kindly to the coats of life and rightly so. Keep up the great work!
GervaiseM via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 05/23/21
Really enjoy the analysis at the start of each episode, insightful thought hidden within blokey humour. I don’t listen to the try hard ask tgc section at the end though
TimHooo via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 05/19/21
Still good, but like so many things, the earlier versions (i.e. before Dave got the boot) were better. Also, the constant pushing of the “premium” patreon content is irritating. Can’t you just ask budgie smugglers for more sponsorship $$$$$. Whinge aside, still one of the two podcasts I...Read full review »

Marvellous listening.

Yeah it’s pretty funny and they do funny interviews but it’s mostly the same 5 jokes recycled over and over again so it does get old

Likeable Aussies? I didn’t think I’d ever find some. Great to listen to an Aussie perspective that doesn’t totally preclude other countries. I also like the very informal tone.

These lads are elite. I’ve known of the grade cricketer a long time but only just come around to listening to / watching their podcasts. I can only say I’m disappointed I didn’t get onto them sooner because wowee they are unreal. This podcast is hilariously casual, whilst maintaining the perfect...Read full review »

Incredibly funny hosts, don’t take themselves too seriously when discussing cricket. Quality banter. No matter what country you’re from if you love cricket you’ll like this podcast. Lots of good interviews too with current and ex players

English Cricket Player via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 01/19/21
A decent cricket podcast, excluding the regular references to being white and attempting to meet the whole ‘woke’ narrative. Virtue signalling aside, a decent listen and, at times, a laugh, when sticking to cricket.
Evansnekslsmamsk via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 01/12/21
The teachings of The Grade Cricketer are more relevant today than some random carpenter in 1st century Roman-occupied Judea. Their sacred text, ‘Tea And No Sympathy’ shall be remembered in the centuries to come as the legitimate Third Testament.
Cillian Davie via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 12/30/20
The eloquently articulated advice for the struggling grade cricketers around the globe is inspiring and touching. The exposure that has come to the rare unit is another highlight of this fine podcast.
Rohan (Muzza) Murray via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 12/04/20
Enjoyable, funny podcast in general, but really enjoyed the long-form interview with Greg Chappell. Looking forward to seeing more of this format with the guests of the calibre of Greg (if I may call him that).
