“This podcast covered the election well, but it is simply too partisan and too far left-wing to abuse the title 'politics weekly'. This week's show took the biscuit: it offered an extended opportunity for one of the Labour leadership hopefuls, Andy Burnham, to set out his platform. The panel interviewers lapped it all up. Not one challenging question was put. Not one explanation or justification was demanded. No opposing views of other candidates were put. Ms Stratton only pushed her interviewee once.
